Ovum

2018

in collaboration with Sarah Homewood (PhD) and the IT University of Copenhagen.

A thoughtful and appropriate method by which both partners can be involved in knowing when the fertility cycle starts, to help a couple conceive a baby with less stress.

Ovum won Most Visionary Concept at the Danish Design Awards 2021

“The fertility cycle of a woman can be tracked using a simple saliva sample. This sample is beautifully projected onto the bedroom wall, so the monitoring can be done by both partners – in the appropriate environment instead of the bathroom. The product helps shift a medical procedure into a cultural context. There are many things to like about this design, but perhaps the most important is that the fertility tracking becomes a shared process”
